Triathlon and Dani's Graduation

This weekend was an eventful one. Geoff and I traveled to Knoxville for his sister, Dani's high school graduation. It was Greer's first trip to K-town and was his first encounter with the Watson/Bowen crowd. It was amazing to see Greer being held by both his great grandmothers! He, of course, also enjoyed the rest of the family as well. Dani is officially graduated and on her way to UT! Yay! We are so proud of you! After lots of food, fun, and graduation at Thompson Boling Arena we got back in the car and headed back 6 hours to Memphis for the Memphis in May Triathlon. With little sleep but lots of adrenolin, Geoff made it to and finished his first triathlon. He swam 9/10 of a mile, biked 25 miles, and ran a 10K in 3 hours! Greer and I are so proud of him!! We had a little craft time before heading to the race and decorated a onesie with "Go Daddy Go"! I think it definitely helped Geoff in the race.

    Go Geoff! maybe we can meet up somewhere in life and cheer shae and Geoff on in a triathlon! shae's got one this coming weekend. Greer is precious :) i loved the onesie ashley - the kids have always sported their "dad" gear at shae's triathlons! i love it!

    so...holt spilled the beans that the wet suit picture was about 2 hours after the race and that there was a birthday party of 4 year old boys going on across the street. classic!
