Merry Christmas

We had an amazing Christmas with both our families in Nashville. It was a wonderful 1st Christmas for Greer and definitely one we will not forget. Thank you to both of our families for your generosity, your love, and making Greer's first Christmas unforgettable!

8 months of Greer

Greer turned 8 months on the 3rd! He is becoming quite the little man. He has started eating table food and loves it! He is obsessed with puffs (which for those who are unaquainted, they are these star-shaped rice puffs that dissolve in your mouth. very handy for children learning to eat!). He also loves green beans, turkey, cheese, mashed potatoes, yogurt, and oatmeal. Greer got up on all fours the other day for the first time. He is definitely getting ready to start crawling. I am not prepared for that. On the tooth front, Greer is currently working on #5 and #6, his two front teeth. Perfect for Christmas..."all I want for Christmas are my two front teeth".

Greer eating his puffs.

ma, stop taking pictures and feed me!

check out my four teeth...i will eat you

This is the snow we got last Sat. The ground was completely covered. Our friends down the street even went sledding. Snow in Jackson! Unbelievable.

Thanksgiving weekend 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My parents came in town to celebrate and spend some time with us. It was a relaxing weekend with lots of delicious food and great football. Greer even got to experience his first "Black Friday". Lucky for him my mom went easy and was not out at 5am like most other years. Mom and Dad even let us go out for a date night to the movies on Saturday. I, of course, dragged Geoff to New Moon. Love me some Twilight! Here are some pictures from the weekend. Thanks for the wonderful weekend! Come back soon, Nana and Pop-Pop!!

A weekend with Dani and Jacob!

This past weekend, Dani came to visit. She and her boyfriend, Jacob made the long trek down on Friday afternoon. We had a wonderful time just relaxing and hanging out. Saturday morning we went to breakfast at Primo's (yummy!) decked out in lots of orange! The majority of the afternoon was spent watching Tennessee get dominated by Ole Miss. It was a sad day for a Tennessee fan living in Mississippi:(. Later we went to Brent's, a local drugstore with a soda fount for milkshakes. This is the same place that Jacob was asked if he was Greer's father. Jacob you were a great sport this weekend! Saturday night we ordered in Julip and played the Wii. What a wonderful weekend! We loved having Dani and Jacob in town! Come back soon! We miss you already!

Jacob and Dani! So cute!

Dani and Greer...love this picture!

On a sad note........Greer has been feeling a little under the weather the past week so I took him to the doctor yesterday. He has a terrible cold with double ear infections on top of it. Poor guy! He just isn't acting himself, so pitiful. We have him on antibiotics now and I can tell he is starting to rebound. He is a picture from yesterday. Can you see the sadness in his eyes. He just wants to be held. I love this little man!

Laurel Park

Laurel Park is one of our favorite places in Jackson. It is a children's park located in our neighborhood. We literally go there everyday, weather permitting. Greer is still a little small for all of it but he can swing... and he loves to swing. I finally took my camera a few days ago to get some pictures. I was just going to take some snapshots but it turned into a photo shoot. Pops and Dani sent Greer some new clothes so we needed to show them off. Thanks again! We love them!

Speaking of clothes, I also need to give a shout out to our good friends, the Eddlemans. They have litterally clothed our child for the last couple months! Geoff is always like, "Cute outfit...where did we get that? And the response is always...Cooper! Thank you so much! We love you guys!
