Changes are happening in the Watson household. Brecken is officially on the move! I am very happy and so excited for my little girl but at the same time very nervous and a liitle scared about the new stage I am embarking on. Thankfully everything is a progression and, as of right now, I still move faster than her. I tried to video Brecken crawling yesterday to both document and share with everyone but this is about all I could get. When I could get Brecken alone she wouldn't move and, as you will see, when Greer was around, it was all about Greer! Enjoy the video. It makes me laugh every time.

Fall days
This time of the year always flies and this year is no exception. The last couple weeks have flown by and I'm afraid I'll blink and Christmas will be here! Brecken and Greer seem to be growing up at warp speed so I am trying to soak up every minute of every day! Here are a few of our adventures from the last couple weeks.
Two weeks ago we went to Disney on Ice with the Robertsons. Greer loved it. And actually so did Mama!

That same weekend we went to Oxford for the LSU/Ole Miss football game. Geoff's parents met us there and we got to spend some fun time together in addition to the game. Greer loved seeing the football players with helmets and jerseys, oh my. Brecken even seemed to enjoy the lights and people. While in Oxford, we also were able to meet up with some dear friends, the Bells and the Eddlemans. It was a wonderful treat! Besides the fact that Greer didn't sleep at all, the weekend was wonderful!
At the game
Happy girl! I could only find one bow, a purple one. Opps, Brecken is supporting the wrong team!
Intensely watching the kicker

The rest of the pictures are just random from the last week or so. Thanksgiving came and went in a blur. Geoff and I both worked part of the holiday but we did get to eat supper with our sweet friends, the Robertsons. Even though we didn't get to see our family, we felt the love of dear friends!
At the Science Museum..we got to make turkey hats and other crafts!
the kiddos playing after church on Sunday. Check out Greer's new haircut! Daddy cut it while Mama was sleeping. Sneaky!
Bathtime is so much more fun with sister!
Brecken has the backward scoot down....now if she can just learn how to go forward!

happy half birthday, brecken!
Brecken is 6 months old! My baby is getting so big! We went to here 6 month check up on Friday and she is doing great. Here are her latest stats:
16 lbs, 11 ozs (63%)
27 inchs long (88%)
41 cms HC (11%)
She is eating solid foods now. She loves bananas and peaches. We just
started squash and it has quickly become her favorite. Greer loved
squash too. Funny what they like at this age! She sits like a pro.
She has been for about a month and now she can work her way down to her
tummy without falling and crying. She is pushing up on her arms and
beginning to do the "backward scoot". I miss the days I could sit her
down and walk away briefly. Now when I return she is usually under
something or wedged in between. Sleeping wise we are struggling a
little. She was sick, then started teething and basically it's been
about 3 weeks of waking up between 2-3 times a night. Hopefully, this
shall pass but in the mean time I am getting some sweet love in the
middle of the night. On the teething front, she now has 2 bottom teeth
and working on 2 top teeth. She is pretty sensitive to pain and seems
very bothered by them. Hopefully she will be back to normal soon! She
still LOVES her brother. (Even though he continues to come up with ways
to hurt her) She began sleeping on her tummy a few days ago. She has
really started giggling. She loves to be sung to and especially likes
hand motions. Her favorite right now is "Itsy bitsy spider". I never
thought I could love another child so much, but I do. Brecken, I love
you!

Trick or treat
Halloween was great fun! Greer's favorite part was the candy, of course! He loves putting on his uniform and helmet (he wears it everyday) except for the day that you are supposed to. We couldn't get him to put his helmet on for anything. Greer was a Saint's football player and Brecken was a ref. I need to apologize to Brecken, although I thought it was both hilarious and adorable, most people thought she was a boy. All night we heard how cute "he" was. Sorry baby girl, next year you will be super girly!!
Brecken is now officially eating...she is loving bananas, peaches, apples, and pears. She also loves her feet. You have to love how flexible babies are!
Brecken doing a little stretching in between bites!
We spent a couple days in Nashville a couple weeks back. We had a great time except for the flat tire! We were leaving the zoo and heading back to the car when we saw it. Geoff sprang into action and had us back on the road in no time. It is definitely nice to have a man around!!
Changing the tire
family photo in front of the elephants...i guess the elephants didn't want to be in the picture
Greer holding Brecken's hand while walking through the zoo! There is nothing sweeter!!

5 months and 2 1/2
Brecken is
5 months old! She is a spitfire, always laughing and smiling. She has
to be a part of all conversations and does not like to be left out.
She coos constantly. We have officially started rice cereal and she
loves it. She started sitting up on her own about a week ago. She is
pretty solid but still tumbles frequently especially when excited. She
is a fabulous sleeper. Sleeping 12 hours at night along with 2 solid
1.5-2 hour naps. She still looks exactly like daddy. She adores Greer
and literally hangs on his every word or action. She is rolling but
only to her right. "I'm not an ambi-turner". (If you can name the movie
this quote comes from I will send you a prize!) She is already
becoming very curious and tries to grab at everything. I love her to
pieces!! She is just my sweet chunky girl!
she loves to wrinkle her nose!
Greer is 2 1/2 this month! He is a typical 2 year old who loves to push limits but also is such joy to be around. You can't stop laughing at his many antics and increased vocabulary. Just the other day he looked at Brecken and said "he jus chilin". Here are just a few fun facts about Greer right now...
